Direkt aquarelliert ohne Bleistiftvorzeichnung. Auch ein Teil meiner "Lost Zoo"-Serie über ausgestorbene Tiere und Völker. Dargestellt ist der Tarpan. Es gab zwei Arten von Tarpan Steppen-und Waldtarpan. Beide Arten sind spätestens seit dem19. Jahrhundert ausgestorben.

Painted directly with watercolours without doing a sketch with pencil. This is also a part of my "Lost Zoo"-Series about extinct animals and tribes. I show here the tarpan. There were two subspecies of tarpan: The plains- and the wood tarpan. Both species are extinct latestly since the 19th century.
