Ich dachte, der Hase braucht nicht mehr Koloration. Dafür eine Ratte, die an seinem Ohr.

Neue Münsterskizzen/New Münster Sketches

Ich war neulich wieder mit meinem Illustratorenbekannten unterwegs zeichnen. Heraus kamen zwei Münsterskizzen und viele Skizzen von präparierten Tieren.

Komisch, meine zwei lebenden Ratten waren wesentlich günstiger....

Dieses Zicklein war so wahnsinnig klein. Ich frage mich, ob es ein Zwergziegenbaby war oder eine Totgeburt.

This baby-goat was so extremly small. I wonder, if it was a dwarf-goatbaby or if it was stillborn.

Oh, Death - Erik

Kleine Aquarellskizze, die ich mit meinem Wassertankpinsel und meinem Taschenaquarellkasten angefertigt habe. Inspiriert wurde ich von dem Song "Oh, Death" interpretiert von Jen Titus, aber auch von der Version von Ralph Stanley. Blöderweise wurde ein etwas verrückter Typ auf mich aufmerksam, weil ich die Skizze in einer Bäckerei gemacht habe. Er wollte die Skizze sehen und Kontakt mit mir aufnehmen.

Er meinte noch, dass er auch Künstler sei und die Leute über Künstler wie ihn und mich lachen würden..... Logisch!! Ich glaube, der Grund, weshalb sie über ihn lachen, liegt woanders. Bevor er auf mich aufmerksam wurde, kaufte er eine Scheibe Vollkornbrot, ass sie zusammen mit einer kleinen Flasche Vodka, die er auf ex runterstürzte (Cheers!!) und er redete dabei wirr mit sich selbst.... Und wurde dann auf mich aufmerksam >__< (ARGH!!)

Ich habe nichts gegen verrückte Leute. Das Blöde ist nur, man weiss bei Ihnen noch weniger wie sie reagieren, als bei scheinbar normalen Leuten.

Small water colour sketch, I made with my water brush pen and my pocket water colour box. I was inspired by the song "Oh, Death" interepreted by Jent Titus and also by the version from Ralph Stanley. Unluckily, a crazy guy became aware of me, while I was doing the sketch in a backery. He wanted to see the sketch and tried to get contact with me. Before he became aware of me, he bought a small piece of bread, ate it together with a small bottle of vodka, which he emptied in one gulp (Cheers!!) and he talked to himself in a confused way.

He said, that he is also an artist, and the people would make fun of us because we are artists..... OF COURSE!!! I think, the reason why the people are making fun of him, lays somewhere else. 

I have nothing against crazy people. But the problem is, that they are more unpredictable then seemingly normal people.

Ich habe mir einen Wassertankpinsel gekauft, und probiere ein wenig rum. Zusammen mit einem Taschen-Aquarellkasten habe ich jetzt ein perfektes Set zum Freiluftaquarellieren.

I bought a water brush pen and now I am a bit experimenting with it. Together with my pocket watercolour box I have now a perfect set for watercolouring outside.
